    Announcements May 3oth 2012 - Tonight is WEEK A merit badges beginning at 7pm at Echo Lake. Class A uniforms are to be worn. Regular meeting begins at 7:30 PM.

    SUMMER CAMP 2012 SUMMER CAMP 2012 - Camp Russell , Woodgate N.Y. from July 22nd to July 28th ,2012. SCOUTS WHO ARE TAKING HIGH ADVENTURE PROGRAM AT CAMP PLEASE SEE ME TONIGHT,THERE IS AN ADIRONDACK WHITE WATER ADVENTURE ONE DAY TREK.. THIS IS AN OFF SITE PROGRAM THAT TAKES PLACE ON THURSDAYS. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $60.00( to be paid at camp) FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.BUS COST WILL BE $125 .00 PP - LAST & FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE JUNE 6, 2012.TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM CAMP IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SCOUT AND HIS PARENT.Mr. Spendley is in charge of the transportation roster. Please see him on your travel arrangements. All Medical Forms (ADULT AND SCOUT) will be due on Wednesday June 06, 2012., YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN CAMP WITHOUT A MEDICAL FORM Please see the Troop Website for Medical Form or see Mrs. Morris.... Adults who are attending MUST have completed THE YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING COURSE, Please submit a copy to Mrs. Morris.

    Personal Management- For this week you should have completed Requirement 5, 6 & 7. Be prepared to review it with either Mr. Spendley or Mr. Catuogno You should be tracking your income and expenses for your budget. If you have any questions please ask them at the meeting, don’t wait until week 13!!!! If time permits we will talk about requirements 8 & 9. Please come prepared and ready to work.rank.

    May Camping Trip doing in June – June 1st to June 3rd We will be tent camping at the Brendan Byrne State Park located by Route 70 and & 72 by New Lisbon and is only about a 45 minute drive. Permission slips should be available at this week’s meeting.

    Class B Shirts - THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE TO ORDER CLASS B TEE SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS ORDERS MUST BE IN TONIGHT.

    Venture Patrol Announcement: Round Valley Canoe/Kayak Trip - June 8th,9th and 10th The Venture Patrol will be meeting this Wednesday to discuss the food arrangements, carpooling, how many canoes/kayaks will be needed, and water safety. Sign ups will be ending Wednesday, May 16th. This meeting will be strickly for those going on the trip. Those not attending are to help out with the ranks. Please be prepared to get this done. This is a great trip!

    Florida Seabase Outisland: Seabase Medicals and Emergency Contact Information and training -As we edge towards the trip, please make plans to have your medical forms done. The forms can be found at: http://www.bsaseabase.org/Resources/Forms.aspx - Please note that you will need to photocopy your insurance card (both sides) and attach with the form. - We will collect the forms at the next Court of Honor which is on June 27. Seabase adult registration and traning: - Adults going to Seabase - Please make sure you submit your registration to Mrs Morris to be a registered adult with BSA as soon as possible and also to do the necessary training online - youth protection and the supplementary training (specifically safe swim, safety afloat, weather hazards) at www.myscouting.org as soon as possible. Seabase Emergency Contact Info: - I will be sending around to all participants the Seabase roster and will need all to verify their emergency contact information.

    Experienced Uniform Box - If anyone has any hiking boots or uniforms for our experienced uniform box please bring them in and give them to Mrs. Napoli. Donations of all scout clothing and equipment is welcomed.

    Boy Scout Troopp 258 meets every Wednesday night 7:30 PM - 09:00 PM at Echo Lake. We go camping at least once a month and to summer camp every year. Come to a meeting on a Wednesday night for more information on joining the troop.
